On October 15, 2026, Anthropic made Code Review, its automated pull request reviewer in Claude Code, generally available to Claude Team and Enterprise organizations. The company announced the change in its Claude blog post on the general availability of Code Review, which described the feature as out of research preview.

What changed

  • Code Review left research preview and became available to Claude Team and Enterprise organizations.
  • Anthropic said most reviews finished about 3x faster than during the preview, going from about 20 minutes to 6 to 10 minutes.
  • Admins chose Quick, Standard (the default) or Deep review for each repository.
  • Findings stated the problem, what triggered it and the fix in a few sentences.
  • Eligible Claude Enterprise organizations could claim at least $10,000 in Code Review credits by January 15, 2027, and the credits expired 30 days after they were claimed.

What it meant for teams building with AI

Teams that merge large volumes of AI-written code got an automated first-pass reviewer on GitHub, sized to each repository through the per-repository review depth. Standard was the default depth, and each finding was written to state the problem, its trigger and the fix.

How admins set it up

Admins enabled Code Review in Claude Code settings, installed the GitHub App and selected repositories, after which reviews ran automatically on new pull requests.
